REENVISION EMERYVILLE.
Emeryville has become a transition city, a place one passes over, to get to where you really want to be. Schools are disconnected from the local government and from businesses. Areas of social gathering are few. Parks and outdoor recreation are paltry. Transportation is largely dependent on cars and buses creating significant noise, toxic pollution, and dangerous traffic congestion. It’s no wonder that most everyone visiting the area sees Emeryville as a city of shopping malls—where you go to buy things and leave. There is no character, no distinction, no there, there.
MEET EUGENE
As a 33-year resident of Emeryville whose three children went to school here, and having an ongoing Emeryville business, I have long experienced the rising wave of apathy, disinterest, and insular living, that surrounds Emeryville’s residents. As residents of Emeryville we need strong, Olympic caliber leadership to devise extraordinary, creative, and original solutions. We deserve a city where originality and innovation are the cornerstone of government and its relationship to our schools, students, and families.
A VISIONARY CANDIDATE.
AT CITY HALL, EUGENE WILL BE YOUR WORLD CHAMPION FOR:
Presenting solutions to looming climate change.
Policing & public safety “City as a family.”
Transforming homelessness to prosperity.
Helping intergenerational residents find jobs & higher education.
Emeryville: A haven of health & fitness.
Making Emeryville a destination of the world.
THE ISSUES
Eugene is uniquely qualified to serve on the Emeryville City Council. The depth of his extraordinary personal and professional experience, his multi-dimensional way of assessing things and creating surprisingly original solutions enable him to address the myriad social, political and economic challenges facing the citizens of Emeryville.

OUR COMMUNITY WANTS A LEADER WITH PASSION, IDEAS & EMPATHY!
WHAT MAKES EUGENE UNIQUE
Eugene’s proven athletic successes proves that he has the discipline, focus, preparedness, and accountability to raise the quality of the City Council and the City of Emeryville to new heights and level of responsibility. He will, for the first time in Emeryville's history, fight to install a Code of Ethics
for the city. This will create rules and procedures that preserve integrity, faith, confidence, and accountability in the City Council. Many other cities have a Code of Ethics. Why doesn't Emeryville?
1.
Eugene sees the City as a Family that communicates and thinks in long-term ways to achieve success and to take pride in seeing the City’s citizens achieve and excel. Eugene is already in talks with the Emeryville Police Chief to have Emeryville residents working
closely with the police force to deter crime and he is going to create a Research and Development Team, to find out the cause of crime and implement strikingly innovative solutions.
Eugene’s vision is to make the residents of Emeryville the healthiest and fittest population in the world by developing marathon running events, swimming, gymnastics, boxing, body-building, aerobic dance, etc. events for all ages to encourage every age group to compete and excel.
Eugene will be available to talk with you any time of the day and any day of the week. Call him directly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
Eugene will unite the schools, businesses, government, and intergenerational residents to create advances in learning and jobs. He will create programs that mutually benefit students, businesses,
and the local government; internships, externships, jobs and career development that apply to intergenerational individuals to reach for new ideas and new careers.
Housing affordability and homelessness? Eugene will be a voice for the City of Emeryville to purchase land and buildings in the city to create affordable housing. Eugene is an architect renowned for innovation and the use of new materials and methods of construction. The city will create its own affordable housing. The mental/psychiatric state of homeless individuals must be addressed. Emeryville must have counseling, psychiatric, mental illness, and abuse care facilities, which address the root core of homelessness and also provide help for family abuse in the city.
