So long as there exists in society the reliance on euphemism to cover the dark lies of profiteering, cruelty, and hypocrisy. So long as the inherent moral dignity of all living things is eradicated by objectification, suffering and confinement. So long as living beings are shrouded by hopelessness, ignorance, and the vicious asphyxiation of a stolen childhood; so long as pain and brutality are covered by the sham of acceptability; then my human presence, value, and service to the world shall not be useless, for my outlook is to reach the optimal level of capability, to search for truth, meaning, purpose, and excellence, and to reveal what I have learned with the world.

33 year resident and business owner in Emeryville with three children that attended Emeryville schools. Graduate of UC Berkeley with an Interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Architecture and Education. Former President of the Emeryville Parent Teacher Association. Co-founder of the Emeryville Community Garden. Helped support the Emeryville Jazz Musicians Development Program.
Author of 7 international books on architecture, ecology and behavioral change. Winner of awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Graham Foundation, and the American Institute of Architects. Published over 100 articles in global newspapers, magazines, and books.
8-Time World Amateur Boxing Champion. 4-Time Senior Olympics Gymnastics All-Around Champion. 8-Time US Presidential Sports Award winner conferred by Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
2013 “Guardian Angel of the Planet” conferred by Project Coyote, a consortium of scientists and educators, sharing title with Jane Goodall and Jean Michael Cousteau.
