After watching the Emeryville's City Council candidate's webinar and reading The E'ville Eye written interviews of all the candidates, I recognized that the candidate who had the most understanding of our city's issues, urgent as well as long term, is Eugene Tssui. His answers demonstrated the most realistic path to solutions compared to all the other candidates. I prefer change rather than status quo. Emeryville needs the same thing every growth company requires - different and creative ideas and opinions. Following the comfortable same ideas and same perspective puts creative thinking to sleep. I saw many candidate responses to be an echo of the status quo. One candidate's answer was a significant demonstration of knowledge of our city and its challenges. Eugene Tssui's detailed descriptions lead me to believe our council's goals for Emeryville's future will be achieved with his addition to the council. I'm voting for Eugene Tssui.
